My Must-Have Hair Product

As you may know, I recently chopped about 6 inches off my hair, due to a minor major hair mistake catastrophe

I know what you're thinking... And just because I'm a hairstylist doesn't mean my hair is healthy. In fact, I am painfully ADD when it comes to my hair, since I am constantly trying new styles and colors on my clients... Thus, my haircolor changes as often as the weather.

Anyways, after extreme ADD took over and I recklessly decided I wanted to go about 4 shades lighter, my hair became EXTREMELY damaged. I knew it was time for the chop... I decided I was going to start over and let my hair grow out in the healthiest way possible... No bleach, minimal heat, minimal shampooing...

A HUGE part of my hairs' recovering process has been due to the Moroccan Oil line. I get mine from my local cosmetologists supply store, but I believe you can get it at Ulta or Amazon... It's pricey, I won't lie (I think about $40)... But you use such a little amount, it lasts for a long time. I continue to bite the bullet and repurchase it, even with the steep price tag.

I only use the Moroccan Oil Treatment (the actual oil), but they also have a Restorative Hair Mask that I've heard GREAT things about... I am a long-time lover of my S-Factor Serious Conditioner with Sunflower Seed Oil Conditioner, but when I am out of that, I may try the mask... The oil is not too heavy on my medium textured hair, but if you have highlighted or extremely fine hair, they make a Moroccan Oil Treatment Light that has the same proteins, fatty acids, omega-3 oils and vitamins for shine; and antioxidants for protection.

I recommend the Moroccan Oil Treatment to my clients time and time again. Even if your hair isn't damaged, it's great to add the extra moisture back in and keep your hair healthy and shiny.

Let me know if you try it. :)

Nail Polish for a PENNY!

Hey, Friends...

I recently found out about a website called "Julep"... It's a subscription service that sends you a box once a month, usually with a couple different high quality nail polishes and a hand cream or something of sorts. (This month, I received a glycolic hand peel- HEAVEN!) I believe it's $19.95 a month which I would never pay, but if you use the code "MARCHINTRO", you can get a whole box for A PENNY! Seriously. I got my box yesterday, and am wearing my lovely polish this morning... Now, you do have to remember to cancel the subscription after you receive the box, otherwise you'll get charge the next month... SO FUN! Here's a link if you want to try it. :)

Umm, hi... Is this thing on?

Umm, hi... Is this thing on?

I've never blogged a day in my life, but I have so many thoughts, ideas, and stories bouncing around in my little head that I figured it was about time.

I find myself wanting to post irrelevant status updates on Facebook that 90% of my friends probably couldn't care less about. (make up, hair, beauty products, Ella)... SO, I'll throw that all together here. I'm thinking I may do some beauty reviews and things, just because I have so many make up and hair products I LOVE, that I want to share my experiences and I love to talk about anything beauty or fashion.

Also, every momma needs a place where they can brag about their kiddo. Right? Or atleast a place to write down memories of all the silly, wild, outrageously smart things she does. I am so bad about keeping up with her baby book, maybe I will be better at blogging since I use the computer much more regularly.

Speak of the devil, Miss Sass herself just woke up... Ever heard the saying "Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the floor in the morning the devil says 'Oh crap, she's up.'"? Haha... That's my Ella.
